Ayazağa Campus Residence Halls
Ayazağa Lakeside Halls
Capacity for 576 (96 female, 480 male) students. 12 residence halls each with 6 flats containing 4 rooms. Bedrooms and communal areas all constructed and furnished to a high standard.
A cafeteria, a laundry and an ironing room in each hall. Within five-minute walking distance to the Ayazağa campus buildings and the 75th Year Student Union. Communal areas, TV rooms, dining rooms. Central heating and 24 hour hot water. Phone and internet access for each student. Central announcement and background music system. View of the ITU lake and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. The Ayazaoa Lakeside Residence Halls are operated by the ITU Development Foundation.
Ayazağa Valley Residence Halls Total Capacity: Currently 717 students (rising to 1434 after the completion of 2 additional blocks in 2000-01). Furnished rooms for 3 with bathrooms and toilets, 24 hour hot water. TV halls, lounges, dining and study halls with Internet connection, laundry and ironing facilities. These residence halls are operated by the ITU Development Foundation.
Ayazağa Men's Residence Hall
Total Capacity: 600 students. This residence hall is run by the ITU Rectorate and is due for renovation during the 2000-2001 academic year.
Ayazağa Women's Residence Halls
Total Capacity: 554 students. Furnished rooms for 1,2 or 3, study halls for common use on each floor, living spaces equipped with TV sets, bathrooms, toilets, laundry and ironing room. These residence halls are operated by the ITU Development Foundation.
Verda Üründül Women's Residence Hall
Total Capacity: 108 students. Furnished rooms for 3, public telephones, kitchens, bathrooms and toilets for common use on each floor, laundry and ironing room, 24 hour hot water, cafeteria. This residence hall is operated by the ITU Foundation.
Gümüşsuyu Campus Residence Halls
Gümüşuyu Men's Residence Hall
Total Capacity: 270 students (66 female, 204 male). The building was first put to use as an ITU residence hall in 1939, and was renovated in 1996. It has been equipped with all the modern conveniences for the students. Furnished rooms for 3 with a view of the Bosphorus, each of them with a bathroom and a toilet, Internet connection and telephones, study halls for common use, laundry service, ironing room, breakfast, lunch and dinner (if paid for), 24 hour hot water. This residence hall is operated by the ITU Development Foundation.
Gümüşuyu Women's Residence Hall
Total Capacity: 58 students. Furnished rooms for 2, 3 or 4. Study hall, computer room, lounge, laundry and ironing room, 24 hour hot water. This residence hall is operated by the ITU Development Foundation.
