EU’s Research and Innovation Framework Program “Horizon 2020 Programme” has been introduced to our academicians.

Rector Prof. Mehmet Karaca, Vice-Rector Prof. Mehmet Sabri Çelik and young researchers attended the meeting held at Ayazağa Campus – Culture and Arts Union Small Hall on Tuesday, 28 April by İTÜ EU Center Research Office.

Karaca conversed with our academicians during the meeting and said that the Rector’s Office always supports academicians who would like to apply to research programs. Karaca mentioned the importance both for themselves and for İTÜ of researchers publicizing and receiving support for their projects on international platforms and said, “We say that İTÜ is a research and innovation university. The people to provide this, to take steps to strengthen this entity are our academicians. It is not otherwise possible to be a university of such quality.” The Rector also listened to the problems and wishes of our academicians.
