9 Medals from our Orienteering Club

İTÜ Orienteering Club, that joined “Antalya Orienteering Days and 3. Stage Mustafa Karataş Competition” organized by Turkish Orienteering Federation on 26 February-1 March 2015 in Alanya, returned with 4 medals.
Our club joined the competition with 6 players and won a total of 4 medals including 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

In the competition that continued for 4 days, Selin Çiftçi who became 2nd in Beginner Women category on the 3rd day, became 1st on the 4th day; Halil İbrahim Karagöz became 2nd in Beginner Men category on the 4th day. Ezgi Baştürk completed the competition in the 3rd place in 21 Years Women A category.

5 Medals from İstanbul Spring Cup, too

İTÜ Orienteering Club took its place in the competition organized by Macera Akademisi with the support of İstanbul Orienteering City Representative on 13-14-15 March 2015 in historical places of İstanbul such as Sultanahmet, Belgrade Forest and Grand Bazaar, too.

In the competition that continued for 3 days, İTÜ Orienteering Club that competed with 8 players won a total of 5 medals. Mert Sugür became the 1st in Beginner Men category on the 1st day, Ezgi Baştürk became 3rd on the first day, 2nd on 2nd and 3rd days in the 21 Years Women category, Ahmet Korkmaz became 1st in 21 Years Men category on the 3rd day.
