ITU Foundation Journal: 71st Issue Released

The 71st issue of ITU Foundation Journal focuses on the problem of “Transport & Transportation”. Discussions on this broad subject will resume in the next 72nd issue to be published in March. Each article, representing various scientific and expert standpoints, is supported by the information on the proposed notions and concepts thus providing a well-rounded treatment of a problem. The “Transport and Transportation” issue of ITU Foundation Journal, which presents expert opinions and sheds light on various problems as well as provides valuable input, will as the previous issues of the journal contain thought-provoking and all-round articles, written by academicians from ITU and other universities.

Apart from the main subject the current journal issue introduces Prof. Mithat İdemen, who devoted his life to architecture, and Hakkı Atun, former prime minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, graduate of ITU Architecture Faculty, in the Interview entry. The issue also features various scientific and technological collaboration agreements and activities, news about the prizes recieved by our academic members and novelties on the ITU campuses, as well as updates on ITU ARI Teknokent, which supports technologically-based ideas; an introduction to ITU Foundation publications and sports columns.

ITU Foundation Journal “Transport & Transportation” Vol. 2 will feature the problems of rail, air and sea transportation along with a number of articles on various issues.
