Secondary Schools' Projects will be Exhibited at ITU

TUBITAK 47. Secondary School Students Research Projects Exhibition and Competition, hosted by ITU, will be held on March 22-24.

In the competition where ITU has been the Coordinator of Europe Region for the 5th time, students from various high schools in Thrace and Istanbul will exhibit their interesting projects for three days in Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center at Ayazağa Campus.

After a jury preselection, 100 projects were invited to ITU out of 649 projects prepared under 12 branches in the fields of Computer, Biology, Geography, Values Education, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Turkish Language and Literature, Technological Design and History.

This competition is held by TUBITAK- Scientist Support Directorate with the purpose of encouraging students at high schools to study in the fields of basic, social and applied sciences, guiding their works and supporting the development of existing scientific studies.

The awards for students ranking the highest will be presented in the ceremony to be held on Friday, March 25.
