May 05, 2016

The play “Contractions” on mobbing, written by Mike Bartlett, directed by Ebru Saraç and acted by Nilgün Erzik Özkaracalar and Özüm Erdil, lecturers from School of Foreign Languages, was staged on May 05 in Suleyman Demirel Cultural Center.

The theatre play was watched by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Fuat Aydın, and an international Turkish sportsman, Şenes Erzik, UEFA 1. Vice-President and a member of FIFA Executive Committee.

The question was the subject of the play “Contractions”: “In business life, to what extend would you let your employer intervene in your private life?” This play, with its many scenes depicting a series of meetings between a young sales assistant and her director, revealed the alarming aspect of a world without borders.

At the end of the play, the viewers applauded the performance of the players for several minutes. Our Rector Karaca presented a plague to those who contributed to the organization.
