ITU Seed, which has supported 1600 entrepreneurs from all over the country in the past four years, will grant an amount of 3 millions in the Big Bang, which is the final stage of this year’s ITU Seed.

ITU Seed has increased the number of investors this year by calling angel investors, angel investors networks, and risk capital companies to support the entrepreneurs in Big Bang 2016 Entrepreneurship Competition by investing in them.

Big Bang Process

As the number of applications to ITU Seed is increasing at an exponential rate every year, a thorough selection process takes place. After the call for application closes, thousands of projects go through a preliminary evaluation process to be selected into the “pre-incubation” process. Among the selection criteria for the projects are technological and innovative quality, potential for commercialization, team quality, and scalability in national and particularly in international markets. While working towards realizing their projects, in the expedition phase, entrepreneurs at ITU Seed receive basic management and entrepreneurship training from professionals and academics. Teams that perform well are accepted into ITU Seed Incubation Center and get the opportunity to use all the facilities and services provided by the Centre.
