Attention Doctoral Student Candidates and ITU PhD Students: 100/2000 YÖK PhD Scholarship Applications are Open Until March 1st, 2017

In order to meet our country’s needs for doctoral human resources (click for detailed information), the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has determined priority areas and has decided to grant PhD Scholarships to YÖK doctoral students in 100 thematic areas in the country’s national universities. In this context, PhD Scholarships will be given in relevant thematic areas at the ITU institutes presented below.

With regard to this, those who meet the following criteria:

• Turkish citizen Ph.D. students who are continuing their academic studies or are registered with the relevant institutes "in the process of taking classes, have passed doctoral qualification but are still in process of giving a thesis proposal" in the following areas:

• Turkish citizen candidates of who are able to work in the thematic areas listed below and who are not yet registered to our institutes will be able to apply for the scholarship to benefit with the condition of submitting a thesis in the designated areas.

Candidates who are applying must fulfill the conditions set out in Article 6 of the "Procedures and Principles for Scholarship for Students Enrolled in Ph.D. Programs by the Higher Education Council". Applicants must not be working in any public or private institution.

Applications should be made by sending the following documents by e-mail to fbe@itu.edu.tr by 17.00pm on 01.03.2017 at the latest.

4. Student document
5. Undergraduate and graduate diploma
6. ALES results certificate
7. Foreign language examination results certificate
